College Classes – A Detailed Overview

I officially started my summer internship at TA Films this week.  had the opportunity to meet most of the team and even assist on a shoot for a NASCAR driver. Everyone at the company is incredibly motivated and welcoming, which makes me excited for what’s to come. Next week, I’ll be helping with a video for the Carolina Panthers. This is a huge opportunity that I’m looking forward to. This internship will provide not only valuable experience but also meaningful connections and personal growth.

Alongside TA Films, I’ve also been continuing my work with NC State. Lately, I’ve been creating highlight videos for players who had standout seasons last year. One of them even complimented the video I made for him, boosting my confidence. I plan to create a few more videos before heading back to Raleigh on July 29th.

I am excited for this season because I am playing one of the lead roles in our creative department. I am one of the main short-form editors, as well as a main videographer. My creative director reached out to me asking me to do a short presentation for the department, giving them advice on effects in the editing software. I am excited to do this because editing is something I am very confident in speaking on. 

I am sad about the people leaving our department. One of our lead interns named Scott Gates, just graduated. He was my favorite editor in our department, as well as a very talented cinematographer. He taught me a lot, which I am endlessly thankful for. Our full-time director of photos and graphics is also leaving. He was a very dedicated, upbeat guy, which made working with him a blast. Our new interns will need to step up and fill the gaps that were left by these two. 

I am excited about what the future holds for these two internships, as more opportunities will arise the further I progress in them.

Music Corner: A song that has been on repeat for me is “Equilibrium” by BabyTron, G Herbo, and Lyrical Lemonade. I like BabyTron’s style of rapping, especially in this song where he is the lead rapper in the chorus. Go check out his music.
